Ad-dict/adikt/noun
1. A person who is addicted to a particular substance.
2. An enthusiastic devotee of a specified thing or activity.
By profession I am a technology consultant. However, those closest to me describe me as an outdoors addict. My well being is dependent on regular exposure to outdoor adventure.
I am an experienced backpacker with over 5000 miles logged over the last 15 years. What feeds my addiction is the sense of accomplishment after a day on the trail. I love guiding backpacking groups of all skill levels.
My other outdoor passions include snow skiing, scuba diving, biking, climbing and bouldering.
